Multi-Level Elements
Options
Several element types in Revit contain references to two levels. Elements such as walls, columns, stairs, and ramps contain both a base constraint level and a top constraint level. For level based filters, Selection Master offers several options for handling these types of objects:
- Find Base Constraint - This option will return multi-level elements only if their base constraint is based on the specified level.
- Find Top Constraint - This option will return multi-level elements only if their top constraint is based on the specified level. Note that there is currently no filter available for 'Unconnected' height walls as they do not have a level as the top constraint.
- Find Top or Base Constraint - This option will return multi-level elements if either of the top or base constraints is based on the specified level.
