Getting Started

Selection Master is an add-in program for Autodesk Revit that allows the user to filter and manipulate the selection set based on several options. Elements can be filtered and sorted by level, family, category, phase created, phase demolished, or any combination thereof.

All Selection Master commands can be accessed from the Selection Master panel on the Revolution Design tab. The Selection Master panel contains the following options:

• Selection UI - This command shows or hides the main selection UI (The UI is either a palette or dockable pane depending on your settings).
• Quick Filters - Quickly apply single filters to the model with a single click.
• Level Rehost - Move elements from one level to another.
• Settings - Adjust Selection Master user preferences.
• Reporting - Retrieve a report listing various types of elements in a model.
• Help - Access this help document.
• About - View product and license information for Selection Master.
