Cloud Console
Because cloud projects can not be directly seen or edited using Windows Explorer, the Keynote Manager cloud console allows you to manage your cloud account and cloud projects.
To open the console, go to 'File->Open Cloud Console' in the standalone application or just press the 'Cloud Console' button on the ribbon in the integrated application.
The cloud console contains tabs for working with user accounts (on the 'Users' tab) as well as projects and masters (on the 'My Projects' tab). These tabs allow you to manage and edit the project, master, and user level data.
For more information on user accounts see the Users page. For more accounts on projects and masters, see the Projects and Masters pages.
The console also gives you the ability to veiw and update company information (if your account permissions level allows). Once you log in your company name, user name, and the expiration date of your cloud subscription are displayed in a dropdown at the top right of the console UI. To update company data simply press the dropdown and select 'Update Account Information'.
From this page you may update the following data:
- Company ID/Name - This is the name of your company, but update it with caution as changing this value will require everyone in the company to log in with the new value.
- User ID - This is your user ID used to log in to cloud services.
- Email - The email address for your user account. Other users will use this to invite you to join their projects, and invitations will be sent to this address so make sure it is a valid address.
- Password - Change your login password here.
The collaboration tab of the console allows you to see projects from other companies that you have joined or been invited to join.
The top section of this tab shows all projects that you are currently collaborating on. Each project gives the name of the owning company, the name of the project, shows your join type (if you are joined as an individual or as a company), and shows you the permissions you have been given for this project. Note that permissions can only be changed by the owning company so this is just an informational readout. If you would like to leave a project that you are collaborating on you can use the 'Leave Project' button on the far left, but be aware that you will not be able to view the project any longer until are re-invited and accept.
The lower section of the console shows projects to which you have been invited but you have not yet accepted or declined. This readout is very similar to the top section, but instead of a button to leave the project there are two buttons, one to accept the invitation and join the project, and one to reject the invitation.
The Monitor tab of the console allows you to monitor the use of licenses in your company.
This tab shows all active sessions for your company and lists the status, user ID, and machine/login name. The status is usually active unless the users machine has disconnected unexpectedly and is near a time out. To update the session data simple press the 'Refresh' button at the top right.
Note that you can also log into the console as a monitor only. If you do so, the console itself will not pull a license, but will only report on the active sessions (all other tabs will be hidden).
