Filter Sets

Selection Master filter sets are simply sets of filters that can be saved and re-used.

Working with Filter Sets

Selection Master saves compound filters as filter sets. If no saved filters are found in a project, Selection Master uses a default filter set named '<Unsaved Filter Set>'. You may add as many additional filter sets as desired and they will be saved to the project. Once a filter set is active you may use the filters pane to define the filters in the set.

The filter set portion of the palette has six main sections. See the graphic and explanation below for details on each item.

Filter Sets Pane

  1. Filter Set Selector - This allows selection of the active filter set from the list of saved filter sets. Selecting a new filter set will allow the filter list for the selected set to be edited in the filters pane and will cause the selected set to be used for model analysis when refreshing the preview pane.
  2. Rename Button - This buton allows renaming of the current filter set.
  3. Add Button - Adds a new filter set. Upon pressing the button, a dialog is given asking for the new name of the set; this name must be unique within the project. Once a unique name is given the new filter set will be created as a duplicate of the currently active set (if desired, the clear button can be used immediately after creation to clear the set).
  4. Delete Button - Delete the current filter set from the project.
  5. Save Button - Saves all filter sets to the project including whatever modifications have been made.
  6. Revert Button - Reverts all changes back to the last saved state of the filter sets.
