Reporting

Description

Reporting is a way for Revolution Design to track the use of Keynote Manager and it's features. On program shutdown, it reports back to Revolution Design on some basic and non-personal/non-identifying information regarding the use of the software.

This feature can be turned off with the paid version of Keynote Manager but is required for the free version. The main reason for this is increase the acuracy of our stats for marketing the advertisements which support the free version.

If you would like to see the reports that are being sent back, they are simple xml files that are saved for 3 days in the Keynote Manager main folder under 'Reports'. You can access this by opening the backup folder from the file menu and then going up one folder.

Information Reported

As of version 10.1, the following information is reported to Revolution Design:

• Program open and close time
• Open and close time of each file (no file names or paths are collected)
• License type (free or paid)
• Status of Manufacturer Link Function (On or Off)
• Status of Banner Advertising (On or Off)
• Status of the Custom Banner Function (On or Off - path is not collected)
